010: Mirror Mirror by Anthony M. Strong

Two posts in two days? I know! I’m shocked too!

It’s been a long while since I’ve read a good horror book and after reading some of the reviews for Mirror Mirror I was dubious that I would enjoy it…

But I was wrong, I really did like it! Sure, it had a few faults but most books do. There was only one thing I had a problem with and that was the ending. Don’t get me wrong, it was a good ending but something was just off for me personally.

There were some clunky sentences but I’m also guilty of that so I try not to nitpick about it too much. However, some of the dialogue got on my nerves but it’s not too dialogue heavy so I could overlook that too.

I genuinely liked the descriptions of the mirror and the library too. I also liked that it kept me gripped and on the edge of my seat.

Overall, I would recommend this. It’s currently free on Amazon UK and I’m so, so glad I took a chance on it!
